CITADEL CATHEDRAL OF PRAYER
INTERNATIONAL

Welcome to
THE NEXT BIG THING

The Fortress of Prayer, Love, & Community.
Since 2010, CCOPI has wholeheartedly welcomed members of the nations to join us in servitude, service, worship, and prayer at CCOPI. Every week we anticipate the presence of God to meet where ever we are. We come with an expectation that the presence of God with saturating our atmosphere to do what He wants to do with us.

We are a body of believers that stands boldly in our faith confessing the word of the Lord over every area of our lives. We invite you to come worship, fellowship and serve with us.

CCOPI has been making an impact in the community for 10 years! We have adopted a shelf at Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry in Bowie, Maryland, donated 250 canned goods to help families in need, provided 30 food packages, donated food to a homeless shelter in Washington D.C., and assist families in need.

The word “Citadel” means fortress, sanctuary, and/or refuge and “prayer” simply means a request, appeal, and a dialogue with God. We exist to build a refuge of prayer for the nation or a place where prayers and petitions are answered. CCOPI was founded on June 28, 2010, in District Heights, Maryland by Bishop Thomas Ridgley who is currently residing as CCOPI’s Senior Leader.
CCOPI was founded on 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 that states, "If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We are a multicultural, Judeo-Christian Ministry that operates under a solid prophetic and prayer mantle with a focus on building a House of Prayer for ALL people.
We are here to bring unity back to the body of Christ. We are committed to praying and seeking the face of God until he answers. We want you to know that we are here to pray you through, to fellowship, to meet the needs of the people, and to do true ministry according to the book of Acts. We know that every church is called to do a specific work so, we would like to connect with you in any way we can so that we may operate as a body with unity and love.
